*gasp*

Scenario : 8 reports are waiting to be drafted. Another pile sits waiting in the office for Monday morning. Home desk has been cleared (due to nagging), but the drawers and cupboards are still stuffed full. Work has to be completed by Wednesday evening, or else no incentives and probably no enjoying the HK trip this Thursday. HK itinerary hasn't been finalized finalized. Dinner venue for November is still only a glimmer in the horizon. I am still flabby and do not know how to slim everything down by July for the photoshoot. Wondering if I should highlight or leave my hair alone? Is that a wrinkle in the corner of my forehead? Under the piles of files, the professional competency tasks for my valuer's registration is still untouched.

Can this year just slow down a bit and let me breath ah?

The O.C. has finally finally ended at its 4th season. To the writers of the OC script, a job very well done indeed. It ended heart-tuggingly-beautifully with a perfect "everything comes full circle" message.

Reasons why I absolutely love The OC :

• The beautiful people in it lead beautifully dramatic lives (and still look beautifully ruffled after an earthquake)
• They got romance in all the right edge-y doses, if you know what I mean
• It's got the best-ever soundtrack to accompany all the right moments
• And it's a happy happy ending! (why else should it be otherwise?)

Sorry the picture above has a bit of a spoiler, not like it matters to most of the world - except to OC adorers like me.

Life will never be the same again without Seth and Summer, Ryan and Taylor, perfect couple Kirsten and Sandy, Julie and Kaitlin. (Ok, the dramatic-ism is rubbing off - I just finished the last episode of the final season of all!) So, the next time I suddenly have a free month with no work to do at all, you know what to get me - I don't mind watching it all over again!!! ;)
