So we traipsed in the scorching sun to the fertile land of Sungai Buloh. Cheapness!RM2.50 for each plant - the "kacukan" ixora and the cute little daisies. Apparently the ixora will last forever, but the daisies will only last about half a year.
The pots cost between RM3 - RM5. How cheap is that?
Below is our little fledgling garden (Kuan Yin bamboo from Ipoh). We're not planting anything on our nicely-laid grassy lawn, so the flowers will just have to sit in controllable pots below the window sill.
