I just started listening to Chinese songs again. Mostly thanks to his influence la. These HK singers are actually really good at romantic songs - like a friend put it to me, when you're heartbroken, you listen to Chinese songs and you'll cry all over again. That's how emotionally-charged Chinese songs can get. And I agree.
Or maybe it's the Chinese in me that makes listening to these songs quite pleasurable, although I don't understand like 95% of the songs' lyrics.
Proves that music makes a universal bond.
